Obituary of Ann B. Lieb RN

Ann B. Lieb, RN, of Dallas, passed away unexpectedly Thursday
evening, at home, following an illness.
Born in the Hudson section of Plains on February 23, 1962, she
was the daughter of Mary A. Kozel Panaway, of Dallas and the late
Attorney Anthony Burland Panaway, who passed away March 20, 2011. She
was a graduate of Scranton Prep, attended College Misericordia, Dallas
and completed her education at the University of Texas at Tyler with a
degree in Registered Nursing. She was employed as a nurse for several
employers and was the Safety Director of the Wilkes-Barre Sanitary
Authority. Ann loved to travel and to support animal rescue causes.
She was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. Ann was preceded in
death in addition to her father Attorney Anthony Burland Panaway by a
son Winston Kent Taylor, December 12, 2004 and a sister Marilynn
(Lynn) Panaway on November 9, 2010.
Ann is survived by her loving husband Larry Lieb, at home; a son
Andrew Taylor, Honolulu, Hawaii; mother Mary A. Panaway, Dallas;
sister Virginia C. Swink and her husband Brian, Austin, Texas; an
uncle William Panaway and his wife Kay, Parsons; nephews Jack Swink,
Anthony Swink along with several nieces and nephews.
Ann's funeral will be conducted Tuesday with a Mass of Christian
Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. Family and
friends may gather at the church from 9:30 a.m. to time of services.
Interment will be private. Friends may call Monday at the Mark V.
Yanaitis Funeral Home, 55 Stark Street, Plains from 5 to 8. In lieu of
flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be given to the
S.P.C.A. of Luzerne County, 524 E. Main Street, Fox Hill Road,
