Please share a memory of Ann to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Anna Siudock, 93, of Plains Township, passed peacefully on Tuesday, January 19,2021, while in the care of Commonwealth Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Swoyersville on February 18,1927, Anna was the daughter of Walter and Anna Seneski. She attended local school until the depression affected this area. At a young age, she began working in the silk mills of Swoyersville.
On December 26,1949, Anna married her love John Siudock. Anna left work to stay at home to raise their four children: John, Joseph, Michael and Mary Ann. John and Anna celebrated sixty-four years of marriage together. John passed on November 18, 2013.
Anna was all about her family and spending time with them. As the children aged, they started their own families, and Anna enjoyed with them many special family get-togethers. She was the family lifeguard watching the pool to make sure the grandchildren were safe. She enjoyed traveling to Florida to visit with her son Joseph and his family and spend time in Daytona during Bike Week.
Her faith was her cornerstone, and she was a faithful member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish of Plains.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Anna, loving husband John, son Michael, brothers Matthew and Anthony.
Surviving her loss to mourn are her sons John, Plains; Joseph and his wife Elizabeth, Florida; daughter Mary Ann Gibbon and her husband Rodney, Plains; grandchildren Bernadette Siudock, Florida; Jacob Gibbon and Nicholas Gibbon, both of Plains; and several nieces and nephews.
Anna’s family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Torbik, Dr. Yavorski and Dr. Amini for their care of mom. Also, all the at home care mom received from her special nurses. Thank you all for your loving compassion when it was needed most.
