Obituary of Michael David Rosencrans

Michael David Rosencrans, 41, of Clifton, Texas, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, November 25, 2022. Born in Kingston, PA, on March 25, 1981, he was the son of David and Frances Rosencrans. Mike graduated from West Side Tech as an electrician and went on to start his own sign business before moving to Texas where he was the assistant manager at Ranglers in Clifton until he became ill. He enjoyed entertaining and had a passion for karaoke. He was also very adventurous throughout his life. A social butterfly that made friends easily. Mike had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. His laugh was contagious, he was strong willed, a stubborn ass and chose his own destiny in life. He did it his way! He and his companion Carla Baker were infamous for their Halloween and Christmas displays at their home. Mike was preceded in death by his half-brother Davey Rosencrans; step brothers Alex and Jimmy Oko; godmother Aunt Joan Zimmerman; his uncle ya man Jimmy Smith and his grandparents. Mike is survived by his companion Carla Baker and her daughter Jocelyn; his daughter Hailey; father David Rosencrans; mother Frances Rosencrans and her companion James Oko Sr.; brothers Andrew and Stephen Rosencrans; step brother Steven Oko; nephew Bryden Rosencrans; niece Raegan Rosencrans; and godchildren Jakey Staskas and Lucas Lopez. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Providence Hospice, Community Healthcare of Texas. A Celebration of Mike’s life will be held at Pizza Perfect,16 Carverton Road, Shavertown, on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. in the back room of the restaurant.
