Every spring the Kundla homestead would bloom into a variety of beautiful flowers and colors, thanks to the green thumb of Mr. Kundla. He loved planting and maintaining his gorgeous garden throughout the season. When he wasn't in the yard, you could find him hunting or fishing with his son at one of the numerous woods or ponds in our area.
He was a proud member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre, for many years. During services, David volunteered as a church usher. You would find him working for the church during various occasions throughout the year, especially during the summer festival.
