Obituary of Joseph George Lecitshon

Joseph George Lecitshon, 75, of Hanover Township, passed on Sunday, August 20,2023, while in the care of the Commonwealth Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Wilkes-Barre on July 11, 1948, Joseph was a son to the late Joseph and Mary Ziomek Lecitshon. He and the family resided in Georgetown when attended local schools. He was a graduate of Marymount High School, class of 1966. Joseph continued his education at King’s College. Joseph was employed by Muskin Pool and later in life by the Suburan Publishing Company where he retired from. Throughout his life, Joseph enjoyed going fishing and hunting with family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his brother and sisters at family events and being an uncle to his nieces and nephews. Joseph joins in heaven his loving parents Joseph and Mary; sister Jane Brown; brother Francis Lecitshon, and nephew Charles Brown. He is survived by his brother William and his wife Aida, Wilkes-Barre, sister Theresa Fromel, Mountaintop; and his nieces and nephews. At the request of Joseph’s family, his funeral will be held privately. Arrangements are in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc. Plains Twp.
