Edward J. Price, 59, of Laflin died on Thursday, September 28,2023, while in the care of the ICU unit of the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp. Born on June 8, 1964, he was the son of the late Edward and Josephine "Peppy" Saporito Price. Ed was a lifelong resident of Laflin. He was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, class of 1981. Ed continued his education at a trade school learning the skill of welding that he used the rest of his life. He worked as a welder and fabricator for several businesses throughout our area. Ed enjoyed working in his garage fixing projects and spending time with his friends. He also enjoyed scary movies and loved all things to do with the story and heritage of pirates. He was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine, his father Edward, and companion Brenda. Edward is survived by his sister Lori Price, Laflin; his companion's son Ray Corrigan and his wife Crystal and their children, and several cousins. At this time services will be held privately. A memorial gathering will be held at a date and time to be announced. Services for Edward are in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., Plains Twp
