Obituary of Florence Lillian Andenno

Florence Andenno, 88, died on Wednesday, October 28, while in the care of the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Tucker Andenno and Ralph Andenno. Florence was born in Plymouth and grew up in Saratoga Springs, New York. She attended school in the New York area and returned to the Wyoming Valley at the age of 15. She worked in various restaurants throughout the valley and was owner and operator of the Main Market, located in Plymouth, for a number of years. In her retirement, Florence resided in the Hudson section of Plains Township. She is survived by daughters Mrs. Richard (Fran)Keil, Hudson; and Mrs. Joseph (Fayeanne) Slucki, South Bend, Indiana; three grandchildren Nicole Keil Jones, Rachele Slucki, and Christian Slucki; and one great grandson Dean Kyle Jones. Friends and family may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc. 55 Stark Street, Plains. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 am with services officiated by Rev. Peter Kuritz, of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.
