Please share a memory of Sherri to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Cheryl "Sherri" Ann Kane, 66, of Plains Township, passed peacefully at her private residence on Wednesday, December 20,2023. Born on November 16, 1957, in the Loomis Patch of Hanover Township, Sherri was a daughter of the late James and Shirley Thomas Siegel. She attended local Hanover Schools with her three siblings, and she was a graduate of the Hanover Township High School, class of 1975. During her high school days, Sherri participated as a majorette. Sherri, and her family, after graduation moved to Mountaintop where she found employment working for Certainteed. After several years she then became an office clerk for the administration at SCI Dallas. She then finished out her career working for Lord and Taylor, retiring in 2018. Throughout her life, her most important accomplishment was being a loving mother to her four children: Candace, Holly, Crystal, and Billy. A close second would be having a small hand in raising her grandchildren who she loved so very much. Sherri, when not with her family, enjoyed crocheting while watching reality television, or surfing on her social media to see what her family and friends were doing recently. She was also a social member at the Polish, Henry, and Italian Clubs where she enjoyed playing cards and darts. You could also find her at her residence enjoying a game of bingo and cards with the ladies. Sherri was preceded in death by her loving parents James and Shirley and her lifelong partner Dave Wodyka. Surviving are her children Candace, Crystal, Billy and Holly and their spouses. Her stepchildren Dave and Kristen, her grandchildren, her siblings and their families and her faithful companion, her cat, Freddy.
