Obituary of Michael Joseph Jeziorski

Michael Jeziorski, 65, of Mountain Top, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at the Geisinger Hospital, Plains Township.
Michael was the son of the late Joseph and Louise Jeziorski and was a graduate from the James M. Coughlin High School.
Mike worked at the Lions Brewery for many years. He also served in the United States Army with the 109th Field Artillery, Wilkes-Barre for twenty-three years and four months. He recently served a tour in Afghanistan before being honorably discharged at the rank of SFC/E7.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and playing in many dart leagues throughout the Valley.
Mike enjoyed making beef jerky, cooking and baking altogether. He specially made a delicious apple pie.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of forty years, Charlene; sons Michael and his fiancée Jamie; Joseph; daughter Jessica; granddaughter Addison; siblings Joseph, Bear Creek; Dianne Laiuvara and her husband Ralph, Ashley; Sharon Tomko and her husband Rick, Wilkes-Barre; and Marie Mack, Wilkes-Barre Township; step brothers Robert Rhodes; Skip Mack; and Dwight Mack; stepsisters Denise, Hunlock Creek; and Joann Polifko and her husband Jim; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mike had a special bond with his little buddy Zackery Jr., a great nephew.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held on Tuesday, January 9, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., 55 Stark Street, Plains Twp. A Funeral Service will follow led by Deacon Donald Crane at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township where military honors will be provided by the United States Army and the Mountaintop VFW Post 7918.
