Obituary of Lynn Stash
Please share a memory of Lynn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lynn Stash, 65, of Ashley, lived a lifetime filled with love and service to others and returned home to her Lord and Savior, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. In her final hours she was in the tender care of her family and the nurses of Residential Hospice. Lynn was one day shy of her sixty-sixth birthday.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on February 12, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Edward E. and Helen J. Wynn Bergstrasser. Lynn grew up in Wilkes-Barre and attended E.L. Meyers High School.
Everyone searches for love in their lifetime, and Lynn found her true love, right across the street. A young man named Andrew Stash had his heart captured by Lynn. After a time being together, on August 28, 1987, the two were married. A short time later, the couple welcomed their son Christopher to their home in Plymouth, completing their family at the time.
In the years to follow, Lynn dedicated her life as a loving mother and wife to her son and husband taking the best care of them. Lynn enjoyed singing and listening to music while she was cooking or cleaning. She also enjoyed playing pool. As she aged, their family grew and welcomed their daughter in law Tara and her son, Tyler to the family, and later, their grandson Jackson. She cherished their time together. When she was relaxing, Lynn enjoyed her social media or spending some time with her cat.
Lynn is joined in heaven with her loving parents and grandparents.
She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-seven years, Andrew, at home; son Christopher and his wife Tara; grandsons Jackson and Tyler, Plains Twp.; sister Judy Williams and her husband David, Wilkes-Barre, and several nieces and nephews.
At Lynn's request, services will be held privately at the convenience of her family and placed in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc. Plains Twp.
