Obituary of Matthew Henry Manarski

Matthew Henry Manarski, 24, of Plains Township, passed unexpectedly on Sunday,
July 19, 2015, while in the care of the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Kingston on January 7, 1991, he was the son of Debra Manarski. Matt grew up in the Plains and Wilkes-Barre area and was a 2009 graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, where he participated in the Speech and Debate Team and was a member of the school's golf team.
He furthered his education at the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He graduated in 2013, with honors, majoring in criminology, and minored in philosophy. Matt was a member of "Penn Democrats" and a member of the Alpha Chi Rho fraternity.
In 2013, Matt was employed by Pepper Hamilton LLP of Philadelphia as a Paralegal. In 2014, he moved to Seattle and became a Contract Administrator for Qliance Medical Management Inc.
Matt enjoyed traveling and recently was in France in 2013. He enjoyed spending time with his family and all his friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Henry and Leona Manarski.
Surviving are his mother Debra, at home; aunt Karen Caffrey and husband Joseph, Plains; uncle Mark and his wife Virginia, Plains; cousins Benjamin; Caitlin; Erica; and Joseph.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc. 55 Stark St. Plains. on Saturday, July 25, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Christian Wake service will be held at 8:00 pm. officiated by Rev. Joseph Kearney.
