Obituary of Joseph John Rowker

Joseph J. Rowker Jr. 60, of Plains Township, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 30, 2015, in the care of the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, on June 21, 1954. Joseph was a son to Leona Shivell Rowker and the late Joseph Rowker Sr.
He is survived by his mother Leona, at home; sister Elaine Ziobro and her husband Michael, Hudson; brother James and his wife Ruth, San Pedro, CA; nieces Leann and Monica, and nephews Jared and David.
Joseph's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains. Rev. John Boyle is the celebrant of the service. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Friends and family may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 am till time of mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joseph's memory may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
Services are in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., Plains.
