Please share a memory of Carol to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Carol Ann Frey, 56, of Plymouth, passed unexpectedly Sunday, March 5, 2017.
Born on February 15,1961, in Plains Township, she was a daughter to the late John and Dolores Benkosky Pawloski. Carol grew up in the Plains area and attended local grade schools and James M. Coughlin High School.
Carol has been employed for the last several years as the manager of Morgans Cleaning and Property Management Inc., Wilkes-Barre. But, her main jobs in life were that of a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.
In August of 1984, Carol married Ernest Frey, and they started their family in Plains, but later moved to their permanent home in Plymouth. Ernest and Carol raised their two daughters Amanda and Alicia. In the last few months, Carol found complete enjoyment with her first grandchild, her little man, Derek. Derek became Grandma’s focus of love and joy, and her his. She had many things left to show Derek, like how great of a problem solver she was, or her love of animals, or how good she was at drawing (she would be able to draw any cartoon he could think of), or even showing her green thumb in the spring time. The most important thing that she was able to show him was her love of family. She had true selflessness. To do without, so others can have happiness. This was her greatest attribute.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents John and Dolores; brother John “Jackie” Pawloski; niece Valerie Pawloski, and nephew John Pawloski.
Surviving are her husband of thirty-three years, Ernest, Plymouth; daughters Amanda Garavaglia and her husband Alex, Kingston; and Alicia Frey and fiance Israel Sachez, Edwardsville; brothers Robert and his partner, Florence Olerta, Wilkes-Barre, James and his wife Becky, Plains; and sisters Debra Serbin and her husband Bernie, Exeter; and Jo-Ann Oney, Wyoming; and grandson Derek Garavaglia; Kingston.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc.,55 Stark Street, Plains, on Thursday, March 9, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Kearney, officiant.
