Obituary of Edward John Price

                Edward John Price, 82, of Laflin, died on Sunday,  June 4, 2017, in the Post Acute Medical Unit, Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, following an accident at home.

                Born in Plymouth, son of the late Michael and Mary Z. Price. He was a graduate of Jenkins High School, Jenkins Twp. He served in the United States Army and was a member of St. Maria Goretti’s Church, Laflin. He was retired from Panel Prints, Old Forge, where he was employed for 20 years.

                Edward’s interests were going to the track at the Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono with his family and friends. He enjoyed watching nature programs and old fashion westerns.

                Edward is preceded in death by his loving parents and his brothers John Price; and Henry Sobolefski.

               He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, the former Josephine “ Peppy” Saporito, and his children Edward and Lori, both of Laflin; brother Michael and his wife Marion, Inkerman; and nieces and nephews.

                Burial will be held private at the convenience of the family.No calling hours.
