Obituary of Charlotte Kwasnick

Charlotte "Kada" Kwasnick, 84, of Plains Township, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at the Birchwood Nursing Facility, Nanticoke.
Born on March 5, 1929, she was a daughter of the late George and Jennie Suchocki Kwasnick. She grew up in the Plains area and attended local schools. She worked as a waitress in Martha's Catering, Parsons, a floor lady in the Gort's Girls Fashion , Wilkes-Barre, and as an eraser technician at Eberhart and Faber Manufacturing , Mountaintop, until her retirement. Charlotte loved to travel. From her travels, she acquired a vast snow globe collection. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church, Plains, where she loved to volunteer for church events especially the bazaar. She was an animal lover at heart, especially to her dog Blackie and her outdoor cats. Charlotte was preceded in death by her sister Jeanette Kwasnick, and her great nephew Joshua Newell.
She is survived by her sister Nellie Peletski, Wilkes-Barre Maryann Prymus and her husband Robert, Ashley; nieces Wendi Newell and Roxanne Bozek and her husband Jevon; and great nieces and nephews: Tiffany and T.J. Newell, Raven and Rayne Bozek.
Charlotte's funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at 11:15 a.m. from the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc. 55 Stark Street, Plains. Interment will follow in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Plains. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9:30 am to time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 E. Main Street, Fox Hill Road, Wilkes-Barre, PA, 18702.
