Obituary of Christine A Zingaretti

Christine Agnes Zingaretti, 89, formerly of the Keystone section of
Plains, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013, in the Temple University
Hospital, Philadelphia, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on January 18,1924, she was a daughter of the
late John and Agnes Doktor Zaklukiewicz. She attended Wilkes-Barre
schools and was a graduate of James M. Coughlin, Class of 1942. She
was employed in a Tele Radio Factory during the war. In 1947, she
married John Zingaretti. Together they operated a poultry farm in
Keystone. The farm was a successful business for several years until
John's passing in 1986. Christine then worked for the Bureau of the
Aging, until her move to Philadelphia. She was a past member of St.
Joseph Church, Hudson, and she enjoyed reading and spending time with
her family . She is preceded in
death by brothers: Andrew, Francis, Gene, George, John, Stanley; and
sisters: Mary, and Victoria.
Christine is survived by daughters Janice Herman and husband Jay,
Glenside; Lois Nemcovsky and husband D.J., Manhattan, NY; and son John
and his wife Susan, Lake Aleeda; grandchildren Julia, Emily, Jessica,
Ashley, and Melissa.
Christine had a private funeral attended by her immediate
family. Arrangements were in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home
Inc., Plains.
