Obituary of Raymond Zalaffi

Raymond Zalaffi Jr., 76, of the Keystone section of Plains Township, died,Thursday, January 10, 2013, in the Highland Manor Nursing Facility, Exeter, surrounded by his family. Mr. Zalaffi was born in Keystone, son to the late Raymond Sr. and Anna Frankelli Zalaffi. He was employed by the Number One Contracting Corporation, Ashley, as a laborer. He was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church, Laflin. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, enjoyed walking through the woods picking mushrooms. He was preceded in death by his brother Ernest. Surviving is his wife of thirty-eight years, the former Romayne Labashowsky, at home; son Raymond, at home; daughter Brenda Goodenough, Florida; brother Peter, New York; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing Sunday, January 13, 2013, at the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc. ,55 Stark Street, Plains, from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. A Blessing Service will be officiated by Rev. Msgr Neil J. Van Loon at 4:30pm. Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
