Obituary of Constance M. Pickett

Constance M. Pickett, 76, formerly of Plains Township, passed peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2019, while under the compassion care of the HCR Manor Care Facility, Kingston.

Born in Plains Township on September 19,1942, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Alice James Yankowski.

Constance attended St. Joseph grade school in Hudson and was a graduate of Marymount High School, class of 1960.

Constance relocated to Florida and resided there most of her life. She was employed as a housekeeper.

She returned to the Wyoming Valley after she retired and lived in Pittston for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother William Yankowski.

Surviving Constance is her loving sister Ann Boyd, Vero Beach, Florida, loving brother Alexander Yankowsky, Augusta, Georgia; and nieces and nephews.

 Following with Constance’s wishes all services will be held privately and are in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc., Plains Twp.
