James F. Davenport, 56, of Wilkes-Barre, passed on Friday, October 16,2020, with his family by his side while in the care of Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
Born in North Tonawanda, New York, on February 20,1964, he was a son to the late James Sr. and Mary Simon Davenport. James worked as a handyman and laborer for most of his life. He was always working hard to provide the best he could for his family. He will be remembered as a loving father who enjoyed working on cars, going four wheeling, playing video games, or watching a good movie with the family.
James is preceded in death by his loving parents.
He is survived by his sons Dakota, Hanover, and Alex, Nanticoke; sisters Debra and Diane.
James's services will be held at the convenience of his family.
Arrangements are in the care of the Yanaitis Funeral Home Inc. ,Plains Township.
