I have always thought fondly of Uncle Joey. He would put a smile on our faces no matter what was going on. He was a fun loving, entertaining uncle and I am sorry to hear of his passing. He will be the life of the party in heaven, I have no doubt. My sincere sympathies to you all. With much love.

We ALL have such fond memories of Uncle Joe. The hats he used to bring us to that "grass skirt" and his ukulele he would wear, playing and singing "Oh, Ma, Ma (The Butcher Boy)". As Uncle Joe would say Sicilian only true Italian! God Bless him.
From ALL the Ianacone Families here in Colorado Springs and state-wide we send our sincere condolences to our Marzzucca Family cousins!

Correction to my previous. We last saw Uncle Joey on a trip over Christmas of 1976 when we stopped in Brooklyn on the way back from Maine to Spain (station at Torrejon Air Base, SP) after visiting wife's parents after our son was born.

Uncle Joey was always a happy-go-lucky guy, full of life, and entertaining. The Gerard & Lucy Ianacone family always had a great time whenever we visited them in Brooklyn. Unfortunately, the last I saw of them was at my wedding in Puerto Rico in August 1970, after I returned from Vietnam. A 26 year military career and 12 years in Europe kept us apart. My sincerest thoughts and prayers go out to the extended Marzzucca family.
